Performing Artists from Japan
“It takes two to tangle”. With the combination of Japanese art of Ayatori (strings game traditionally played with fingers) and the intertwining acrobatic dance of Kinetic Art, Tangle explores the interdependancy of human nature and one’s own reactions to others by dancing with ropes, a representation of such in-between ties, and full body-scale Ayatori with its intricate geometrical patterns, all created in time to the music.
Festival du Cirque de Demain
Representing Japan for the prestigious international festival of cirque de demain. Bringing the signature style of contortion and dance, Kinetic art has won arte TV prize.
